Program Note:

There is little doubt in the modern-American mind that returning to a peaceful ‘center’ is of paramount importance in the never-ending battle of limiting stress. Breathing Helps addresses the difficulty of finding these serene moments within the hustle and bustle of living in a vibrant city. Though at first one may consider tuning out the industrial soundscape that surrounds them, we ultimately must find stasis amidst the chaos and the noise.
