Program Note:

One of my earliest works of juvenilia, Alice in the Wind employs the words of early African-American poet Paul Laurence Dunbar to set the tone of Alice, his wife, serenely exploring an open field in the hazy sunlight of an August sky. This impressionistic view of an ordinary situation will leave you wanting to be there too.

Alice in the Wind was premiered at the 2008 Anderson University Composition Department Concert Series.
